In connection with the upcoming visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Germany on January 20-22, we, the leaders of the Karakalpakstan democratic parties and movements, especially would like to draw your attention to the most flagrant violation of international norms, to the violation of human rights and to the Humanitarian Disaster which is actively supported by the President of Uzbekistan.
Shaukat Mirziyayev personally prohibits and pursues prosecution of the activities of civil activists of the Sovereign Republic of Karakalpakstan, prohibits and persecutes the activities of democratic parties and the Alla Karakalpakstan party in the Republic of Karakalpakstan by grossly interfering in the internal affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and violating the UN Charter to prevent persecution of opposition parties inside the State.
As the result of his active support for unemployment in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as the result of the pursuit of small, medium and large businesses in Karakalpakstan, unreasonably raising taxes and rates of the utility services, cutting off electricity, cutting off supplying of natural gas and withholding wages, pensions, benefits, as the result of depriving child benefits , unemployment benefits, as the result of systematic forced labor without complying with elementary safety rules, as the result of the forcible deprivation of their legitimate homes of residents of the Republics Karakalpakstan WE ARE OBSERVING A Humanitarian Disaster, when the people of the Republic of Karakalpakstan have hanger, they are forced to leave the country and settle around the garbage dumps of Kazakhstan and Russia in the informal zones of Karakalpakstan refugees.
We would like to ask the Euro Parliament and his President Antonio Tajani, we would like to ask the Government of Germany and Angela Merkel to demand that the Government of Uzbekistan withdraw the occupation military forces of Uzbekistan from the Sovereign Republic of Karakalpakstan, withdraw political prisoners of Karakalpakstan from the prisons of Uzbekistan, and demand from President of Uzbekistan freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of assembly and follow rule of Law and Constitutional rights of citizens of the Republic of Karakalpakstan from the Government of Uzbekistan and Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We would like to ask the Euro Parliament and his President Antonio Tajani, we ask Government of Germany and Angela Merkel to demand from Shavkat Mirziyoyev President of Uzbekistan to stop the persecution of members political party of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, allow their registration and activities, demand from the government of Uzbekistan to stop the agitation and propaganda on the territory of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
We need support of NATO to survive as a nation, we are on the verge of being extinct. We need a help to restore our Independence declared on December 14, 1990 and we need a help to develop democracy in Karakalpakstan. We are one of the richest country in Central Asia and experiencing tremendous suffering from occupation policy of President of Uzbekistan because of our natural resources. We need your help to survive.
